The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Plus,
along with the Porsche Design variant of the Mate 10 Pro, were all just announced a few weeks ago and all are now on the top of our best Huawei phones list. All of them share the recently announced Kirin 970 processor inside, along with the same rear-facing 12 and 20 MP dual Leica camera setup, and the same gigantic 4,000 mAh battery. There are a few big differences, however. The Mate 10 has a 5.9-inch Quad HD LCD display at a more traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, while the Mate 10 Pro has a larger 6.0-inch Full HD+ OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Huawei P10 and P10 Plus
The Huawei P10 uses a 5.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, while the P10 Plus is a bit bigger, with its 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440. Both phones use Huawei’s Kirin 960 processor., with the P10 getting 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage, while the P10 Plus comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both have dual Leica-branded camera sensors in the back, and 8 MP front-facing cameras. Both phones are still among the best Huawei phones you can buy.
Huawei P10 Lite

The biggest difference in the specs is that the P10 Lite has the slower Kirin 658 chipset rather than the 960 found in the P10 and P10 Plus. This member of the Huawei phones family includes a 5.9-inch Full HD display with a 18:9 aspect ratio along with Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 659 chipset inside. It also has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256 GB) and a 3,340 mAh battery. It’s one of the few Huawei phones with four cameras; a 16 MP and 2 MP sensor set-up in the back, and a 13 MP main camera and a secondary 2 MP sensor in the front. It recently went on sale sale in Germany for €399 but has not yet made it to the US market.
Huawei P9 Lite 2016
The immediate predecessor to the P10 Lite, the P9 Lite still offers up some solid hardware for a reasonable price tag making it a good Huawei phone for the price. It has a 5.2-inch display, along with the company’s own Kirin 650 processor, clocked at 2 GHz. The phone is available with either 2 or 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery that should last you for about a day’s worth of work. All in all, that’s not bad for a phone that launched over a year ago.

If you really want to snap this up, Amazon in the US is currently selling the phone for $179, but if you want to wait to get a cheaper Huawei phone, you might want to wait until the P8 Lite (2017) makes its way stateside.

The Y3 2017 is even more bare bones than the Y5 2017 model, with just 1 GB of RAM and only 8 GB of onboard storage.
